While we boast a fully equipped 2000 sq ft gym, we don’t allow open gym membership making us exclusively private and soley dedicated to personal training. Over our 20 years in business, we have serviced clients as young as 16 and as old as 80. Our program diversity includes weight loss, hypertrophy (body building), conditioning, boxing, and flexibility training.  We are confident that no matter your specific goal, we have the experience, facilities, and knowledge to get you there.

Weight loss

With Spartans weight loss and conditioning program, envision yourself moving for the entire 30 minutes. By utilizing our private gym, we can keep clients in a constant state of fat burn while at the same time maximizing their weightlifting results.

Come let me share my 40 years of real-world weight training with you. The best and most effective way is the Spartan way. Over these 40 years I have formulated can’t miss routines, and can guarantee clients that apply them muscular growth. Whether you are a 20-year-old male or an elderly client, everyone at Spartan gets stronger.

Meet Your Trainer

Tim Dutcher

Tim is the owner and head trainer at Spartan. He is A.C.E. and I.F.A certified. Tim created the Spartan Training Center system over 30 years ago. Traditional gyms aren’t designed to maximize personal training programs, and Tim designed Spartan to do just that. He has been training throughout the Greater Boston Area for over 30 years, opening his first brick and mortar in 2003. He has directly trained thousands of clients in his tenure, and supervised the training of hundreds of others. Over this time he has continued to evolve his systems to work for a myriad of exercise programs.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

  • $60 for a ½ hour session

  • $120 for an hour

  • Payment due on the 1st of the month with a 4‑hour minimum

  • Mon – Fri: 5:30 am – 9:00 pm

  • Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

I HAVE VERY LITTLE EXPERIENCE WORKING OUT. IS PERSONAL TRAINING RIGHT FOR ME?

At Spartan we can custom create a workout program for anyone at any skill level. There is no need to be nervous; you will be one-on-one with our trainers in a private setting. Our trainers are here to help you make working out enjoyable and rewarding.

CAN I WORK OUT ON MY OWN IF I AM A CLIENT?

The cardiovascular equipment is available to all clients when the center is open. Any weight training is done exclusively by appointment only.

WILL YOU HELP ME WITH MY DIET OR NUTRITIONAL PROGRAM?

Nutritional advice is available to all clients and is considered a key component of all weight-loss programs.

I HAVE AN INJURY AND DON'T WANT TO GET HURT. WILL THE SPARTAN STAFF BE ABLE TO WORK AROUND IT?

The center does not specialize in physical therapy or diagnosis of any health condition. In conjunction with your doctor or physical therapist we can create programs for clients with physical issues.

Is there dedicated parking?

There is public street parking available, as well as a dedicated public lot just around the corner.
